Beaufort Women's Center

Our vision, our hope, and our prayer is that no woman, man or family in Beaufort County and surrounding areas would have to face an unplanned pregnancy alone, and through the compassionate care of the BWC, she would find the strength and tangible assistance to carry her baby to term.

The Voice of the Martyrs

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church.

Kids of Courage

The Voice of the Martyrs publishes Kids of Courage materials for children 5 to 13 so that families and schools can include children in learning about and serving the persecuted church. Kids of Courage publications are committed to:

  1. Educating students about courageous Christians and countries that restrict Christian worship.
  2. Encouraging students toward greater spiritual growth by giving them examples of those who are risking all for Christ.
  3. Providing practical opportunities for students to pray for and aid today's heroes of the faith.
